This shows how problematic deep crossers are. A basic 2 route concept is impossible to stop even for pros cus you are forced to cover the post/crosser manually. It's been broken since day 1 and nothing has been done about it.

@RAG1NG360 I've played and coached at a competitive level for years. If there's no other route to their zone, then the corners should be looking inside for the nearest immediate threat. If you ran that 3 route concept in real life it would get shut down. If there's 2 route in your cover 3 zone and one is a streak, then you're obviously going with the streak, but the underneath guys in real life don't just spot drop and cover grass. THey're inside/out defenders, where' they're reading from 1 to 2. 1 crossed inside on a drag, so they're no longer responsible. 2 went on a streak, which is taken by the corner. The crosser is passed over to SS/OLB who hasn't had a route in his area for more than a few seconds, which GIVES HIM TIME to locate the threat coming from inside. That crosser isn't even that deep.
