When I was 11 I made what was essentially a Yule log but with with strawberry filling for a strawberry bake off and I came in 2nd because they said the winner was because they did crepes and the level of difficulty and as an adult I have made both and a rolled cake is more difficult than crepes.

I love that this looks far more like an irl @home bake off rather than one that has multiples of literally everything needed, prepped/premeasured ingredients, and a huge space to work in. While I think you are killing it @home, I bet these shows give you an even greater appreciation for having a studio and large team.
