I’m late but, time is not a physical thing right, how does someone relate time to light? If someone is at the speed of light everything would look frozen but time would still go on for him and for everyone, so, travelling a billion light years, will take a billion years for the person travelling at the speed of light but everything would simply be frozen

What if we only think we are real but we are all one cosmic glitch of a fraction of a second within a millisecond? What about time moving so slow it would be stationary but not stationary? So technically time is fast but we just think it's long because we are so tiny. And what if eternity is also just as eternally large as it is eternally tiny and we just don't see the whole picture because we are so insignificantly small. Just a high thought 😂

I have a question, if we need the circumference of a circle to find pi (because pi is the circumference of a circle over diameter), how do find the circumference of a circle without the measure of pi? And another thing is if you divide pi with the diameter you will get the circumference (2piR) which is again contains pi, then divide with diameter and still again leaves pi, doesn't this create a paradox? How do we find pi without the circumference and vice versa?

11:07 Or if the simulation is programmed with blueprints for values instead of fixed values, and whenever someone wants to observe those values it generates them this could still be a simulation. So instead of square root 2 being some exact number, it is just square root 2 and the more we observe it the further it generates. Kinda like designer sofwares that use vectors instead of pixels and the more you zoom in the shape stay the same. That would kinda fit in well with quantum physics too.

Michael pls answer this plsss if the theory is correct and we can make a veichel faster then the speed of light with bending space time for the veichel if we will turn light before the drive how will that work or let's say our body can survive this will we be able to travel anywhere we want and the pepole in the ship won't age or maybe we will create a hole in space time and we will be in literally out of space it self and if the universe is not infinite can we see the end in no time will light be inside the ship of course we need infinite energy but if we put every single human can we stop being old and we can live forever and if that will happen will we be able to break every law and there will be no limits And again thanks for reading

Come on! By definition, all energy has mass. It's immeasurably small but there. E = M*C2. Solve for M. It's why photons are drawn into a black hole. It's why it requires extremely high energy for photons to escape a black hole. "Matter" is simply energy wrapped up in a stable conformation.

16 kun oldin
Chiel Vooijs
Chiel Vooijs

@Derek Currie So photons don't have rest energy or rest mass, but they do have relativistic energy or relativistic mass. Maybe gravity works for both of these types of masses?

5 kun oldin
Derek Currie
Derek Currie

@Chiel Vooijs Thank you for a thoughtful reply. I linked a Wikipedia article below. If this is the case, then we're back to wondering what gravity actually is and why photons bother to respond to it, as in EM radiation being drawn into a black hole. - - I question these things amidst and age of bad and often spooky 'science' when scientist pundits frequently get things wrong, spreading misunderstanding among we humans. In this case, why would photons wrapped into a conformation we call mass create the effect 'gravity'? Is this ever explained? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy%E2%80%93momentum_relation

5 kun oldin
Chiel Vooijs
Chiel Vooijs

@Derek Currie The equation E=MC2 is kind of a lie, the whole equation is E2=M2C4+P2C2, when you take into account that light doesnt have mass, you get E=PC, which is the formula for the energy of light.

5 kun oldin
Derek Currie
Derek Currie

@Chiel Vooijs ... That we can measure. Think about the number of photons in the universe. It's impossible because they're literally everywhere in open space, undetectable, effectively 'dark' from our perspective. Then consider what their collective mass is within open space. IOW: No, space is not a vacuum. It's full of photons, each with a varying amount of energy, M=E/C2 for each. Why isn't this obvious as well as intuitive?

The fact that square root of 2 is a sign that we don’t live in a simulation is pretty bad. Let’s say I’m creating a simulation. I cloud apply my own laws of physics from my universe in to that universe. So the program itself can obviously calculate the square root of 2

Well then, that is how you can travel forward in time, since moving at the speed of light time would stop basically for those on the "ship" and time would continue for others. unfortunately its not possible to reach light speed so time travel is not possible then. You would also be left with no way to go back to your start time.
