Donovan Mitchell is a great young player. He has the talent, but he's not close to a Superstar as of yet. He needs to CONSISTENTLY impact the game in other areas first. His teammates don't get the credit they deserve because they don't score 20 points. However, Mitchell has the greenest light on the team. The dude averages nearly 20 shots a game for a his career so he SHOULD score 22pts a night easily! The Jazz are a well coached team and it's been time his teammates received their credit from casuals too. He's trending in the right direction, but for the Jazz to take that next step, he has to take those extra steps as well.

I actually believe Shaq is trying to get a fire out Donovan. He knows saying this would piss him off and wants to see him prove him wrong. Men grow from Challenges this a challenge to Donovan Mitchell and it looks to me like he accepted it and will use it as motivation. Plus Shaq is the same guy that made up a story about David Robinson so he could play better against. This is a form of manipulation not hating.
